Get answers to common questions about Enzyme Peel.

An Enzyme Peel uses plant-derived enzymes to gently digest dead skin cells and dissolve surface debris. It exfoliates without strong acids or physical scrubs, unclogs pores, and encourages cell turnover, leaving skin smoother, brighter, and more receptive to serums.

Many sensitive skin types tolerate enzyme peels better than chemical peels because they are gentler. We perform a consultation and optional patch test, adjust application time and strength, and recommend calming post-treatment care to minimize redness and irritation.

You may notice immediate brightness and smoother texture after one treatment. Optimal, longer-lasting improvement in tone, pore clarity, and fine lines typically appears after two to four sessions spaced two to four weeks apart.

Yes — enzyme peels are excellent add-ons to facials, extractions, and light resurfacing. We assess skin condition and schedule complementary services appropriately. Avoid aggressive procedures or strong actives (retinoids, high-strength acids) within a week before or after to reduce irritation risk.

Most clients experience minimal downtime — mild redness or light flaking for one to three days. Peeling is generally subtler than chemical peels. Following home care and sunscreen minimizes sensitivity and supports gentle healing.

Before treatment, avoid retinoids, strong acids, and vigorous exfoliation for several days. Afterward use gentle cleansers, hydrating moisturizers, broad-spectrum SPF, and avoid heat, intense workouts, and heavy makeup for 24–48 hours to protect results.
